John was born and raised in Mexia and started working at the funeral home at a young age. 2011 marks 30 years of being a licensed funeral director and embalmer.

John is active not only at the funeral home, but various local groups and organizations. He is currenly serving as President of the Mexia Rotary club, President of the Mexia Cemetery Association, Chairman of the board of directors of Parkview Regional Hosptial. He is also an active member of Springfield Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church in Mexia.

Available twenty four hours a day to be of service to the community.

Kathleen Stubbs, Co-Owner, Funeral Director and Memorialist

Kathleen, co-owner with her husband, John, is a licensed funeral director and memorialist.

She graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Dallas and obtained her license in 1999. Kathy focuses the majority of her time at Blair-Stubbs Memorials, but is always available to help out at the funeral home.

Kathy is an open and sincere person who people find to be very easy to converse with and express their feelings.

Knowledgeable in all areas of the monument and funeral business, Kathy is always prepared to help when called upon.

Ray Jones, Funeral Director

Ray Jones has been a funeral director and embalmer for the past 40 years. Ray has experience in both small and large funeral home setting.

He is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Mexia where he has taught Sunday School for the past number of years.

Ray has a wealth of knowledge of the funeral business and is always willing to help his fellow man.

Collin Stubbs, Funeral Director/Embalmer

Collin Forrest Stubbs is the third generation of the Stubbs family to be active in the local funeral business.

Collin graduated from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 2010. He has passed his National and State board examinations, served his internship and now joins the firm as a licensed funeral director.

Betty Spurlock, Office Manager

Blair-Stubbs is very fortunate to have Betty Spurlock taking care of the day to day office duties. Her attention to detail and warm and friendly smile mean so much to the people she is able to help.

From filing insurance and government forms to being helpful on the telephone, Betty is always willing to assist.

Bobby Jack Liles, Funeral Assistant

Bobby Jack Liles, a familiar face around Mexia is a true assest to our firm.

Bobby has spent his life serving others through his occupations and National Guard Service.

Bobby is an active member and deacon of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia and a member of the Springfield Masonic Lodge.
